Here we have this lovely Davenport desk with the desirable ‘pop up’ feature.NOW SOLD
As well as having the ‘pop up’ stationery compartment, the cover of the sliding writing section is in the piano top design.
Having the normal 4 working drawers to the right hand side and dummy drawers at the left.
Another desirable feature, are the carved cabriole front legs, above the turned feet with concealed rolling castors under.
A very rare design in this desk that is unique to us, is the writing slide with the adjustable reading stand that unlocks with a key and then this writing sectioncan be carried around your home to be used away from the desk.
The stationery compartment is released by lifting the lid of the desk and then once the writing section is pulled forward for use it unlocks the ‘pop up ‘ section.
