The desk was made in 3 parts, as you would expect of a correct desk of this type.
The desk has 3 drawers along the top and 2 pedestals with 3 graduated drawers in each pedestal.
Each drawer with moldings around each edge, this extra feature pointing to this desk to be of higher quality and would have cost more than the standard version in the day.
The writing surface with an inset hand dyed and antiqued hide leather in our autumn leaves finish.
