Here we have this good quality pedestal desk made of mahogany. This desk would have been made circa 1860
Constructed in 3 parts, consisting of a pair of pedestals and the top with its inset leather writing surface
The writing surface in fine leather that has been hand coloured and gilt tooled by our craftsmen before giving it a wonderful antique finish
Each pedestal fitted with 3 graduated drawers and standing on a plinth base with castors under.
The top section above the knee-hole that is fitted a long drawer in the middle between a smaller drawer to each side.
The desk is polished and finished all around and so can be used away from the wall.
