This small mahogany chest of drawers is fitted what is known as a brushing slide.
The slide was originally used by the butler to brush the gentlemans trousers, the feature was used later as a multi-purpose idea and could be used for writing , serving or jst a having another useful surface.
This small chest of drawers can be used in many places in the modern home, as its size makes it useful in so many situations.
The chest if fitted 4 graduated drawers and its original brass swing handles.
