Here we have this most eye catching sofa table in vibrant rosewood.
The Regency rosewood sofa table is fitted 2 drawers to the front and is finished all the way around so that it could be stood in the centre of a room. Very much of its era this table has brass line inlays as well as decorative motifs. It stands on a centre column with four scroll feet with concealed castors below. The column is is a delicately shaped tablet that joins to the block support that is attached to the top.
The top with its drop leaf to each end has the additional feature that the leaf supports swing out and become part of the sofa tables front adding to the flow of the piece.
