This Pair of Victorian mahogany easy armchairs were made circa 1875.
These high-quality frames with oval carvings and well carved swept arms.
The turned mahogany front legs and the highly unusual stepped back legs. The stepped back legs must have been a quirk of the cabinet maker, I can’t recall seeing other lie over the years.
It is always lovely having a pair and imagine sitting back and relaxing in these comfortable chairs.
They are in a tartan material that has been done in the not too distant past and so ready for your home.
