Mahogany twin pillar dining table (1930’s) NOW SOLD

Here we have this very good example of a twin pillar dining table in the Regency manner.
The solid mahogany top has rounded ends and a central leaf to add to make the table extend.

The cabinetmaker chose wonderful Georgian timber of great colour and figuring that makes this a wonderful object to look at as well as being a wonderful table to dine at.

Imagine sitting at this table and entertaining with your friends and family.

The table has a pedestal support to each end with quadruple legs coming off the gun barrel turned column.

The table can be used with or without the leaf which is supporting by slides and also brass forks. It is very easy to set up and with easy upkeep with just a soft duster now and again.

This table has been re-polished in our own workshop, it is done in the traditional manner with no sprays or lacquers used. After French polishing it is then hand waxed to give a wonderful warm and deep finish.

We use a professional Removal company to transport our precious items and do not entrust them to usual parcel services. Therefore, delivery may be 7 -10 days, but it is worth the wait of course.
