This Edwardian mahogany large pedestal desk was made circa 1900. NOW SOLD
It is rare to have this drawer formation with the usual 3 drawers along the top but then to have 4 graduated drawers to each pedestal.
The desk comes into 3 parts, consisting of the top section and then the 2 banks of drawers.
This makes it easy to transport and move around your home or office.
Each drawer is lined in mahogany with fine dovetail joints and the original brass swan-neck handles.
The top is inset with the original fine hide leather writing/work surface. Usually, we have to replace these as they are in a tried and damaged condition, but this is in such lovely aged condition we did not need to do so.
Its good size makes for a superb large workspace and imagine the pleasure of ownership it will bring.
