This Georgian oak pot board dresser base was made circa 1800. NOW SOLD
It is fitted 3 drawers with Georgian brass fretted plate handles.
To the front you have the 3 turned supports and the usual straight legs to the rear.
Joining the legs is the rare feature of a panelled pot board, usually they are just long planks, but this has the more refined double panel.
This Georgian oak pot board dresser base would have been made for an Estate cottage using timber taken from the estate. Country made dressers are full of character and this example has a lovely wax finish and good colour.
