This Edwardian circular extending dining table was made circa 1900, probably in the Waring and Gillows workshops.
The mahogany table is circular when it is closed without the extra leaves set in place.
It winds out using the handle that locates at the end of the table, before easily extending on a patent mechanism to allow you to place in one or two leaves to suit your dining requirements.
There is a fine solid mahogany turned leg with flutes to each corner, each with the original porcelain rolling castors.
Circular dining tables are hard to find, they are very popular as it gives a pleasing shape even when expended fully.
