This Antique oak Shropshire dresser was made circa 1820. NOW SOLD
The Antique oak Shropshire dresser is of pot-board form with the 3 drawers along the top with a drawer under to each side of the arched centre. Each drawer has the original brass knob handles original.
You have the unique opportunity of owning this dresser that for the first time since it was first made has been on the open market.
Due to having to downsize their family home the family have had to part with it, and we are delighted to have been chosen to find the new owner. The gentleman owner said as we were loading it onto our vehicle ‘I do hope it gets polished every week as I have done’ Fortunately this will not be required as it has such a lovely finish it only will need a soft cloth to dust it off to keep its shine when required.
We purchase lots of dressers and find it’s rare to find one so well loved, it has retained a lovely honey colour and of course has the wonderful patina.
