This Antique mahogany partners desk was made in a London workshop circa 1840. NOW SOLD
The partners desk is of a lovely rare small size that allows it to be superb for a domestic or office setting.
Made in 3 parts which allows for it to be transported easily to and around your home or office.
Having 3 drawers along the top and 3 graduated drawers in each pedestal each side of the kneehole. To the rear you have the 3 drawers along the top and a pair of cupboards under, one fitted a moveable divider.
We have replaced the old writing surface with a hand dyed and gilt tooled green leather.
This has been done by our specialist who does this very skilled and precision work by hand. It takes tremendous patience and skill.
The leather is laid in its raw state before it is hand dyed and antiqued.
This is a stunning example and ownership will give you great pride and is sure to get many envious glances.
