This Antique Gilt Florentine shaped mirror was made circa 1880. NOW SOLD
The frame is in carved wood and then was gilded in a workshop in the Florence region of Italy where it would have been sold to a wealthy visitor on the Grand Tour that was so popular in the late 19th century.
This mirror has been sympathetically restored by our specialist who has worked on projects at Windsor Castle, for HM the Queen’s collection, and other members of the Royal family
